I know there is a little problem with the string position, but Thank You so much for everything else. Her form would work very well, especially for that type of bow, and you managed to put the arrow on the correct side of the bow in relation to the archer. It is so hard to find a proper representation of archery on this site, thank you again.
If you every revamp this piece, other than the string, the only thing I would suggest changing is adding a three fingered glove to her shooting hand to protect the fingers.
After looking at this, I definitely want to see more of your work, and read the book to learn the archer's story and why she has wolf with her. I like the bow, it's coloring and size and I think you did a good job with the other, smaller details in the picture.
Wow! She's beautiful. Love the lighting from the moon. And how everything matches that moon/night contrast. Her hair/clothes, the bow and its decorations, the black sword grip and metal pommel. The glow of the wolf's eyes goes with the eerie patterns on the stones, which hints at something magical going on in the full moon and makes me want to read the book to find out what!
